eBearings | Smart Wheel-end Hub Units

Fersa smart wheel hub is equipped with an intelligent system that allows measuring different parameters such as temperature, mileage, speed, vibrations, humidity, load, among other helpful data for analyzing and preventing premature failures and calculating the remaining lifespan of the bearing.

MOSS | Modular Sensor System

A modular system for industrial application called MOSS (Modular Sensor System) developed by Fersa, offers a technological solution adaptable to any type of bearing, capable of measuring temperature, vibration and communicating wirelessly to send data and information.

HiPro bearings

Focused on improving bearing life. This family includes bearings with high durability and high energy efficiency. Thanks to high cleanliness steel and optimized profiles, a bearing with high load capacity and longer life is obtained. It is the perfect solution for the most demanding conditions.

UltraPro bearings

A higher surface hardness after the carbonitriding treatment, which delays wear and failure. This is the bearing with the longest life manufactured by Fersa. This family is useful for applications related to the automotive sector.

UltraBain bearings

A high impact resistance, which translates into increased product life. This family arises with the objective of offering a reliable alternative for those applications where bearings must withstand extreme conditions such as temperature changes and impacts. The UltraBain family is the best option in its class against failures due to hydrogen embrittlement, thus obtaining a differential performance in the wind power or mining sector.

Reduced friction

Friction reduction, to minimize vehicle emissions and consumption. We increase bearing performance by improving component geometries.

HiPro bearings FE (Full Efficiency)

Microgeometric improvements are developed. Contact surfaces are taken to the next level, resulting in a 10% reduction in friction, which translates into a reduction in fuel consumption and, therefore, CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

GPro (Green Performance Bearings)

Features a DLC surface coating that reduces friction by 40% and improves wear resistance by withstanding higher rolling contact stresses. As a result, these bearings reduce fuel consumption.

Weight reduction

The reduction in bearing weight counteracts the increased weight generated by the use of batteries in electric vehicles, allowing the application to consume less energy.

HiPro PD bearings

Transforms the over-engineering of the bearing into a more compact design, with the same load capacity as the standard bearings they replace but with better load distribution thanks to geometrical redesign and a higher load/surface ratio. As a result, HiPro PD bearings weight 10% less than standard bearings, have reduced dimensions and consume 15% less frictional torque.

Statistically, more than 98% of failures are due to causes external to the bearing design itself, such as poor lubrication, mounting error, contamination, etc.

We design and develop “plug and play” integrated bearing solutions, ready for users to assemble, saving time, and minimizing the risk of assabling errors that could lead to premature failure.

Insulation performance

We design hybrid bearing solutions that provides protection against the passage of electricity, with silicon nitride rolling elements that are 60% lighter than conventional steel that offers a higher wear resistance, and reduced centrifugal force for increased speed.

Hybrid bearings range

This range consists of bearings formed by steel rings and Si3N4 silicon nitride rolling elements. The rolling elements have the following properties: electrical insulation, low coefficient of friction, corrosion resistant and higher modulus of elasticity.
